This one-day, interactive workshop by Ops Solutions provides a great opportunity to learn about delivering what is valued by your customers, clients, patients, patrons, guests… whoever you serve!  Throughout the day, participants learn the skills necessary to contribute to their organization’s purpose. 

Upon successful completion, participants will be able to explain what lean is, its history, and principles including value stream mapping, follow the problem-solving method to continuously improve, describe the importance of nurturing and engaging people in a “no-blame” team environment, identify value-added activities and more importantly… the deadly wastes, calculate the rate of customer demand and number of required work steps to balance flow, apply the 5S methodology to organize anything from a hard drive to the shop floor, understand the need for Innovation (The Wow) & Standardization (The How), and grasp how agile teams plan, execute, reflect, and refine their way to success

Understanding The Team’s Dynamics

This two-session, interactive workshop provides you and your team with the opportunity to learn about each other… other than by casual water-cooler conversation.  Throughout this workshop, participants learn about their specific personality type, those of their teammates, and what the team has in terms of strength and challenges/blind spots… to improve team performance and accomplish great things!

Upon completion, participants will be able to explain why formal assessment are useful in determining personality types, why it is important to understand our own preferences and those of others, how their unique style @ work affects how they solve problems, what motivates them, and allows their best work, what they and their teammates work habits are like as subordinates, colleagues, and managers, understand how they interpret the world and manage emotions, describe the team’s strengths and challenges, how to leverage specific strengths to accomplish great results, and what is a team and what it takes to be an ideal team player (and a new appreciation for Venn diagrams).

This is an engaging series with team activities, group discussions, and application of learnings! 

No pre-requisites necessary!  Prior to this workshop, participants will complete personality and strength assessments (approximately 1 hour) via email. Upon review and compilation of assessments, we schedule two sessions (up to 4 hours each) with you and your team to engage in understanding the team’s dynamics. *** To provide value, the participants must all be willing to share their assessments with each other. *** Unsure?
